Main objectives: • TB test and treat approach The objectives are to ensure healthcare professionals are aware of the TB test and treat approach within the National TB Programme. Discussion on strategies adopted, as well as implementation will be discussed in detail. • TB Preventative Therapy The objectives are to ensure that TB Preventative Therapy (TPT) is implemented comprehensively to those with highest risk of TB exposure in South Africa. Focus on TPT successes and challenges within provinces and districts will be discussed as part of knowledge sharing and programme strengthening. • Choice of Regimen The objectives are to discuss shorter regimen options and duration of treatment available for HIV negative people and PLHIV. The discussion covers fixed-dosed combinations and the different drug regimen options available based on the National Guidelines for Treatment of TB Infection in South Africa.
