On 19 June 2020, the National Department of Health released a statement titled, Follow up statement on Dexamethasone by the Minister of Health. The statement summarised the outcomes of the Randomised Evaluation of COVID-19 therapy (RECOVER) Trial, which reported benefits from the use of Dexamethasone in patients with severe COVID-19. Based on the available results of the RECOVERY Trial, Dexamethasone is recommended in COVID-19 patients who require respiratory support only.

The guidelines provide guidance for clinicians, managers and trainers on the use of available regimens within the context of the continuum of HIV comprehensive care for prevention, treatment and support for all age groups in private and public sector. These guidelines address clinical and programmatic aspects of HIV treatment and prevention amongst adults, adolescents, children, infants, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and key populations along the continuum of care.

Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) is an integrated approach to child health that focuses on the holistic well-being of the child. IMCI aims to reduce death, illness and disability, and to promote improved growth and development among children under five years of age. IMCI includes both preventive and curative elements that are implemented by families and communities as well as by health facilities.

The 2020 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Minimum package of interventions to support linkage to care, adherence and retention in care included in this booklet, have revised the 2016 Adherence Guidelines for Chronic Diseases (HIV, TB, and NCDs) to align with the 2019 ART Clinical Guidelines for the Management of HIV in Adults, Pregnancy, Adolescents, Children, Infants and Neonates. The aim of the SOPs is to enable delivery of effective differentiated care to patients within the health care system.

These Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) posters are part of the National IPC Manual/Guidelines (COVID-19) and the health worker safety posters are part of the Adult Primary Care Guide. These include: 

*	Personal protective equipment (PPE)
*	Hand hygiene
*	Cleaning and disinfection
*	Health care worker safety
*	Entrance screening to health facilities.
