Dear ACC Master Trainer, 

Please find below information regarding the ACC Master Trainer Post-training
Virtual Support: Clinical Grand Round Session 6. The purpose of the clinical
grand round sessions are to provide post training virtual support for ACC
Certified Master Trainers through clinical case discussions and decision
support.

 

Title: ACC Master Trainer Post-training Virtual Support: Clinical Grand
Round Session 5

 

Topic: An approach to management of an HIV infected mother and new-born
(PMTCT/Paeds):

*	Management of treatment failure in pregnancy
*	Management of an HIV exposed infant

 

Date: 22 June 2021

Time: 14:00 - 16:30

 

Main objectives:

Master trainers to present a case on management of an HIV infected pregnant
woman with 1st line and 2nd Line ART failure or neonatal challenges from an
HIV exposed.

 

This session is aligned to the following ACC Curriculum modules: 

*	Module 3.9 - Management of treatment failure in the pregnant woman
*	Module 4.4 - Neonatal challenges

Presenters will discuss their approach in management and guidance received
during the ACC curriculum master training with specialists to address the
key questions and clinical challenges in their case. 

 


 

SUBMIT YOUR CASE FOR DISCUSSION

Cases for presentation and discussion to be emailed to Sharon Paul at FPD on
ACC.Info at foundation.co.za <mailto:ACC.Info at foundation.co.za>  by 14 June
2021.
